Advance Traffic Management System
Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) is implemented at Agra Lucknow expressway, the purpose of the ATMS system is to provide a safe and smooth journey experience to vehicles plying on Agra Lucknow Expressway. In the first phase, 152 Emergency call boxes (ECB) at every 04 Km, 50 CCTV cameras, and 10 Speed & Number Plate Detection System are installed.
Emergency Call Box:--ECB allows user to connect with ATMS control center by pushing single button and seek for emergency help in case of accident or, distress. User can enquire about emergency services available on expressway like Hospital, Police Station, Workshop, Facilities etc. This telephone does not have dependency on mobile networks, as it works on optical fibre connectivity. 152 nos. of ECB Systems are installed at 76 locations at every 04 KM of Agra Lucknow expressway.
CCTV Camera:--PTZ cameras installed on expressway can monitor the Expressway as well as traffic. PAN, Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) options can be controlled from the ATMS control Room. PTZ camera is installed at total of 50 locations on the expressway.
ANPR System:--The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system detects and monitors traffic speed and provides option for penalizing errant drivers. Speed Displays are provided at the location for displaying maximum speed detected on each lane by RADAR. Also, to put check on over speeding of vehicles e-challan is being done based on an average speed of vehicles between any 2 ANPR system and toll plaza situated near Agra and Lucknow.
Mobile Application:--“Expressway Mitra”, like name suggests, is very useful for Expressway Road-users. The App is available free to download for android and apple users. “Expressway Mitra” app has the following feature for the road user.
1--Overspeed alert via voice message as well as Text notifications
2--Alert when vehicle stopped on expressway.
3--Information and route guidance about nearest facilities and emergency services.
4--Incident reporting for accident, traffic congestion, road condition with image and category selection.
5--Journey Planning. Travel time estimation and GIS based route guide.
6--Toll fare estimation for the planned journey.

2--Search for the expressway mitra app.
3--Install the app and open.
4--Enter your mobile number, system will sent an OTP.
5--Enter the OTP and allow the permission asked by app.
